Be Bold. Be Brash. Be Strong.

BE BOLD. BE BRASH. BE STRONG…it’s what I tell myself each morning. It’s what I say to myself before I meet with you. It’s not to dominate you, but rather to be the best I can be for YOU. I’m a believer that whatever I tell myself, I will live. I’ll give you an example. I ran track from sixth grade until freshman year in college. I never told myself I was the one to beat. I never told myself that I would be the state champion. And in the end, I wasn’t. Instead, I told myself that I was the number three man. And I was. If I had just told myself that I was number one maybe I would have been.

I came to this conclusion after focusing on my self-awareness for the past seven years. It’s all in what you believe. Change your thinking, change your actions, and you can change your life.

Be Bold. Be Brash. Be Strong.

Believe in Yourself

we-live-who-we-believe-we-are-blog-photoThis is the best quote I’ve heard in a long time.

I have a friend that is really struggling with his position in life. I have watched him struggle with his fears and, unfortunately, he has become half the person he could be. The barrier isn’t other people. The barrier isn’t his job. He is not sick or physically impaired. Quite the opposite. It all comes down to what he believes.

Every morning he wakes with the idea that everyone is judging him. Yet the reality is that no one is judging him and if they are, so what. This person lives every day in fear and dismay because he has the wrong beliefs. If he could change what he believes, his life could change.

Your beliefs provide a map for your life. If you want to have different life, change what you believe about yourself. Build a plan and execute that plan.

212 Degrees…The Tipping Point

212-degrees-blog-image

Everything has a point where change happens. Water boils at 212 degrees, not 211. Most of us want something in our lives to change. Finding a way to make that change is our 212 degrees. How do you find that tipping point? I believe it’s easier than we think. We think too much and don’t take enough action. We must identify the “finish line” or the change and then look back to where we are today.

Here’s an example. Want to have $1,000,000 in the bank in 30 years? Then you need to save $91.32 a day.

When you break things down to their smallest denominator, anything can seem possible. Anything is achievable.

Find the “boiling point” and you will find the change.

One Year…365 Opportunities

one-year-of-opportunities-blog-postI woke up this morning with a sound mind and able body.

If I will just open my mind’s eye…I will see the opportunity.

Every day is filled with opportunities. It may be someone we meet who could take our position in life to another level. It could be pushing through a hard day or taking a chance on the unknown.

The opportunity is there.

We just need to reach out, grab it, and hold on.

The Class Clown…You Always Remember Them

The Class Clown…you always remember them

TAG5Who was it?
We all had one in school…I married one.
We most likely remember them first before anyone else.
Getting attention is what the class clown did so well.
As a business owner,
as a sales person,
we are trying to get the attention of our prospective client. When we market on social media, we are trying to get attention. Views are one thing.

TV commercials are views…but what do we do when a commercial comes on? We fast-forward through it or look at our phone, IPad or laptop.

When marketing on social media,
Focus on getting ATTENTION!!!!
Forget the view count!!
Focus on the viewer remembering your company.
