I worked at a Mexican cuisine restaurant as an assistant chef. I was 16 years old and my Dad really wanted me to come to work at his window company. Being 16 and not wanting to do what he wanted, I went to work cooking tacos and burritos at a local grease pit It was a summer job and I never went back the next summer.
What I learned there though was filling food orders at a restaurant took a huge amount of order and having a clear PROCESS was essential. It was paramount that everyone know what their role was in the process.
